While this is a very interesting piece I actually have no clue what it is. It is two separate pieces a glass and brass pot and a stand. The lid has two holes in the top and is hinged.
Could be a pounce pot - but they usually have more holes. Maybe an ink pot? But then why the holes. Someone suggested an oil lamp but I think its too small. It is about the size of an ink well. Could be that the two holes once held a finial.
If anyone out there knows for a certainty what this is, I would so appreciate you dropping me a line to let me know!
Dimensions: 3 1/4" tall x 3 3/8" at the base of the stand.
Color: Clear glass and brass
Materials: Cut glass and brass
Fair Vintage Condition. There is a chip in the glass and the brass has a fair amount of verdigris.
Listing if for the ink well with stand and does not include anything used in photographing the item.

Yes, in most cases you will only pay shipping for the heaviest/largest item and additional items will be shipped free. When ordering multiple items please contact me so I can make an adjustment to the shipping charges. This can also be done in the form of a refund if you order before contacting me.
In most cases they are not. I negotiate each price and pass any savings on to the buyer when I list the item. However I have no problem with you asking me. I figure if I can negotiate when I purchase an item then I should not mind when someone negotiates with me. FYI I am usually more open to negotiations when the order is for multiple items.
